Our journey to becoming a family was slightly different since we chose to grow our family through adoption. There was no real nesting period. Just an instant family.  Sebrena was with us from the very beginning answering all of our questions and putting our minds at ease when all those little baby sounds were so unidentifiable and scary to a new mom.  Our daughter was born at 5lbs 5 ounces and even holding her was so nerve wrecking, and even harder when she wasn't adjusting to her formula and then the donated breast milk. Sebrena showed us the best ways to relieve her and keep her comfortable through these transitions. On days when we were exhaustion was hard to fight through, Sebrena was there to assist with the things you don't even realize take such a load off. Sebrena is patient, sweet and trustworthy. Having Sebrena as my Doula was everything I wanted but didn't know I needed a truly amazing experience.  From prenatal video calls that helped me work through the anxiety of becoming a girl mom, to ensuring the safe transportation of my daughter from spontaneous home birth to hospital, and even on call during that special postpartum period where I was emotionally, physically and mentally challenged, she got me through it all. Her tender loving touch and depth of knowledge have that big sis vibe, so you'll know your covered in love, education, resources and prayer. 100x Over I would recommend Sebrena and her Doula services (I actually already have). I wouldn't want to know what it's like giving birth without her for support❣️ 

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support Sebrena and TLC provided before, during, and after my delivery. From the very beginning, Sebrena provided resources to make me feel confident and empowered. She got me a book to prepare me for labor, delivery, and beyond, as well as a journal to record memories.  

During delivery was no different. She showed up and stayed for the over 24 hours of my labor and delivery. Sebrena was a calming, reassuring, and knowledgeable presence, helping me manage contractions, advocating for my birth preferences, and ensuring my comfort every step of the way. Her encouragement and hands-on techniques made a world of difference in my birth experience.  She even stayed with me through the epidural (!) when my mom and husband were apprehensive.

Even after delivery, her support didn’t stop. She continued to check in on me, offering breastfeeding advice, postpartum recovery tips, and reassurance as I adjusted to life with a newborn. Her kindness, expertise, and unwavering care made my journey into motherhood so much smoother.
